We handle all estate planning matters, from wills and trusts to probate. Our Trusts & Estates Department provides client counseling regarding wills and trusts, living wills, healthcare proxies, guardianships, conservatorships, suretyships and powers of attorney.

Our Trusts & Estates Department also focuses on business succession planning. In this area, we assist owners of both established and growing companies to plan for the orderly continuation of their businesses upon the death of a principal of the company. We are particularly experienced in developing strategies for ensuring smooth generation-to-generation transfers while maximizing growth.

Another focus of our Trusts & Estates Department is the administration of estates and trusts, including the handling of probate and other proceedings. Throughout the administration of an estate, we remain aware of the various tax issues which may arise, and seek to address those issues in the most advantageous manner possible.
